"I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!" - Alice, Alice In Wonderland.
Long bus rides.

Sometimes we just need to stop and appreciate the small things in life.
I think this is the reason why I enjoy long bus rides.
Just sitting by the window and looking out of it, listening to the music that best depicts your life at the moment and stop over thinking.
It is the silence that makes you feel at ease.
And you finally start to notice the little things that you have neglected so far.
Probably, when you are at ease, you finally know what you want.
I was on the bus home, and I saw these little weed-flowers sticking out of the grass.
Somehow, I love looking at these little flowers.
They are so small and unwanted, but I think that they are beautiful.
It kind of reminds me of ourselves.
Our perception of us.
We feel powerless and useless at times, when really, it's just that the right person isn't here to see our beauty.
Or even when they are here, we doubt them.
We second guess ourselves.
We think too much for our own good.
On these bus rides, I always think about old movies.
It's often the old movies or books that leaves quotes that I remember vividly.
On this particular instance, I recall Life Is Beautiful.
Guido said - "If you speak my name, I vanish. What am I? Silence".
Us humans talk too much sometimes.
Sometimes solitude do us good.
Well, that is if we learn to appreciate and embrace it.
We need to stop.
Stop over thinking.
Stop doubting.
Start doing.
Start believing.
And before we start with others, maybe start with ourselves.
